Brazilian football: Botafogo and Bahia players reflect on recent victories

In Brazilian football, Botafogo defender Marçal expressed his commitment to the club following a victory over Chapecoense at the Nilton Santos Stadium. Marçal, who nearly scored with a header, noted the difficulty of playing against the league's bottom-ranked team, stating that they often play with less commitment. He described playing for the club as a “privilege” and emphasized the importance of maintaining team spirit to secure more points in the championship.

Meanwhile, Bahia defender Marco Moreno commented on his official debut during the team's win against Mirassol at Fonte Nova. Moreno highlighted the team's resilience after two previous losses and discussed his defensive coordination with Luciano Juba. He noted that their communication allows them to adjust positioning effectively, whether covering the center or the flanks, to support the team's defensive structure.
