Brazilian football clubs begin planning for 2027 season

Several Brazilian football clubs have initiated preparations for the 2027 season, focusing on squad building and youth development.

Santo André has resumed activities at the Bruno José Daniel stadium to prepare for the Campeonato Paulista Série A-2 and the Copa Paulista. Under coach Douglas Leite, the club is integrating youth players with remaining squad members following a recent points deduction. New signings including Danilinho, Cayo Tenório, Gustavo Nicola, and Wandson have been announced, with further reinforcements expected in November.

São Paulo is increasingly relying on its Cotia academy to bolster its professional roster due to financial constraints. The technical staff is currently integrating 11 players aged 20 or younger into the professional environment. This strategy aims to prepare young talents like Djhordney and Gustavo Santana for future opportunities, following the developmental model established by players such as Rodrigo Nestor.
