Brazilian football clubs eye major player transfers

Major Brazilian football clubs are preparing for significant roster changes and potential high-value player sales.

Atlético-MG is planning for the 2027 season under the supervision of Eduardo Domínguez and the SAF. The club is monitoring international interest in forward Tomás Cuello, who is being tracked by clubs in Greece, Turkey, Russia, and Ukraine. Additionally, midfielder Igor Gomes may leave the club at the end of the 2026 season as his contract approaches its term.

Cruzeiro is also facing intense interest from European clubs regarding 20-year-old goalkeeper Otávio. Tottenham, Borussia Dortmund, Porto, Napoli, and Nottingham Forest are reportedly monitoring the player. Cruzeiro may be willing to negotiate the goalkeeper for a sum between 25 and 30 million euros, which converts to approximately 150 million to 180 million reais.
