Brazilian Football Confederation opens extraordinary transfer window for Série A clubs

The Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF) announced an extraordinary domestic transfer window for Série A clubs, scheduled from July 9 to July 17, 2026. The window opens earlier than the standard July 20 start because the 19th round of the Campeonato Brasileiro was moved forward, and the measure aims to preserve the competition’s balance.

Clubs such as Fluminense can now register players like striker Hulk for upcoming matches, while other teams with early fixtures—including Botafogo, Santos, Mirassol and Grêmio—also benefit. The international transfer window will still open on July 20 and remain open until September 11.
