Brazilian Football Confederation targets R$1 billion for Copa do Brasil rights as digital platforms draw 100 million + W

The Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF) is negotiating the TV‑broadcasting rights for the Copa do Brasil for the 2027‑2030 cycle, aiming to raise about R$1 billion in revenue. The federation has opened talks with Record, Globo, Amazon, SBT and ESPN, hoping to finalize an agreement by August. The current deal with Globo and Amazon generates roughly R$700 million, and the new contract would apply new rules for game allocation and retain a share of the prize money, with the champion receiving at least R$78 million.

Meanwhile, Flow Sport Club, a digital‑content arm of the Flow group, reported more than 100 million views across its social platforms covering the 2026 FIFA World Cup. The channel produced over 1,500 pieces of content, including 73 live streams from its “Mansão FSC” studios in São Paulo, and highlighted a growth in its female audience. Its coverage relied on AI‑generated key points and “react” formats that resonated with fans despite not holding official broadcast rights.
