Ferroviária defeats Paysandu 4-0 in Série C

Ferroviária defeated Paysandu 4-0 in a match during the 17th round of the Campeonato Brasileiro Série C at the Arena da Fonte Luminosa in Araraquara. The victory marks Ferroviária's largest win in the competition.

Ferroviária established control early, with Vitor Barreto scoring twice within the first nine minutes. In the second half, Juninho added a third goal following the expulsion of Paysandu midfielder Pedro Henrique. Douglas Skilo completed the scoring in the 41st minute of the second half.

Despite the heavy loss, Paysandu remains within the G-8 qualification zone in sixth place with 26 points. However, the defeat has increased pressure on the team with only two rounds remaining in the first phase.
