Brazilian football focuses on youth development and new infrastructure

The Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF) met with football legend Zico in Rio de Janeiro to discuss the development of youth categories and potential partnerships. The meeting focused on exchanging experiences regarding the training of young athletes, with Zico offering the infrastructure and expertise of the Zico Football Center (CFZ) to support CBF initiatives.

In Espírito Santo, the Geovani Silva Football Development Center (CDF Geovani Silva) will host its first matches this Saturday. The venue, built by the CBF using FIFA 2014 World Cup Legacy program funds, will host the finals of the Sub-11 and Sub-13 State Championships. Porto Vitória and Doze are set to compete for the titles, with Porto Vitória seeking a fifth consecutive championship in both categories.
