Brazilian Foundations and Universities Unveil New Tech Lab and Research Portal

On April 4, Fundação Casas Bahia and banQi inaugurated a new computer laboratory at the Afesu Morro Velho center in São Paulo. The opening featured a professional lecture on technology and highlighted the partnership’s goal of expanding digital education for girls and women in the community.

Later in the week, the Federal University of Santa Maria (UFSM) launched the Portal Integra, a digital platform that aggregates information on the university’s academic, scientific and innovation activities. The portal offers searchable profiles of faculty, links to research groups, access to project details, laboratory services and innovation environments, aiming to increase visibility and collaboration across UFSM’s campuses.
