Bolivia arrests five Brazilian fugitives in joint operation

A coordinated operation involving the Civil Police of Mato Grosso, the Civil Police of São Paulo, and the Bolivian Police has resulted in the identification and arrest of five Brazilian fugitives in Santa Cruz de la Sierra, Bolivia.

The suspects, who were caught in flagrante at a residence following anonymous tips, include individuals aged 23, 25, 26, and 38 from the Brazilian states of Santa Catarina, São Paulo, and Maranhão. Intelligence confirmed that all five men have outstanding arrest warrants in Brazil for serious crimes, including homicide, drug trafficking, robbery, and involvement in criminal organizations.

Fernando Vasco Spinelli Pigozzi, a delegate from the Polinter and Captures State Management, stated that this strategic partnership, developed throughout 2026, has enabled the identification of various criminal faction members hiding in Bolivia.
