Brazilian gastronomy gains international spotlight

Brazilian gastronomy is gaining international visibility through high-profile culinary features. In the Apple TV series ‘Knife Edge: Chasing Michelin Stars’, produced by Gordon Ramsay, three Brazilian restaurants are featured in the second season. Chef Claude Troisgros, who operates Madame Olympe in Rio de Janeiro, expressed honor in participating to demonstrate the global importance of Brazilian culinary work.

Additionally, Chef Rafa Costa e Silva of the two-Michelin-starred restaurant Lasai is highlighting technical precision and the use of local ingredients. His approach combines international training, including time at Spain’s Mugaritz, with a focus on Brazilian flavors and seasonal products sourced from local producers in Rio de Janeiro.
