Brazilian gubernatorial pre‑candidates tour municipalities to hear voters

Pre‑candidate for Paraíba governor Cícero Lucena visited the Curimataú region, touring family‑farm initiatives in Nova Palmeira and Cuité and inspecting water‑supply projects in Picuí. He pledged to complete the Curimataú water‑pipeline, improve credit access and logistics for producers, and protect local ecosystems.

In Rondônia, pre‑candidate for governor Hildon Chaves and vice‑governor candidate Cirone Deiró travelled to 23 municipalities over 50 days, meeting mayors, business leaders, farmers and community groups. Their itinerary included agricultural fairs, coffee field days and distribution of cacao seedlings, with an emphasis on strengthening family agriculture and rural infrastructure.

Both tours aim to gather local input for upcoming 2026 state‑government platforms.
