Várzea Grande health post gets high‑definition endoscopy and colonoscopy system
The Centro Especializado em Saúde (CES), known locally as the Postão, in Várzea Grande, Brazil, has installed a new high‑definition endoscopy and colonoscopy system. The digital equipment, provided by B&F Brasil, offers HD imaging, chromoscopy for enhanced vascular and lesion visualization, and capabilities for biopsies and polyp removal, improving the precision of digestive‑tract diagnoses and early cancer detection.
Municipal health secretary Valéria Nogueira says the upgrade reflects an investment in both modern technology and professional training. Nursing staff completed a technical training program led by engineer Gabriel Nathan Gomes to learn proper handling and support protocols. Technical director Letícia Maria Marques emphasized that the team’s readiness is essential for safe procedures. Participants such as technicians Cleunice Neuburger and Dilene Viana highlighted the value of the training for patient care. Examinations are expected to resume next week, expanding the municipality’s specialized diagnostic services.
