Brazilian hospitality firms appoint new commercial executives

The Brazilian hospitality sector is seeing strategic leadership changes as ARA Resorts & Residences and Grupo Tauá announce new executive appointments to drive commercial growth.

ARA Resorts & Residences has appointed Daiane Melo as the new Commercial and Marketing Manager. Based in Pernambuco, Melo aims to strengthen the company’s hospitality operations and expand its short-term lodging and apartment rental segments. The company currently operates the Samoa Beach Resort and Samoa Villa Resort in Muro Alto.

Simultaneously, Grupo Tauá has named Thiago Souza as the Head of B2B Leisure Sales. This new role follows the group’s expansion into the Northeast with the opening of Tauá João Pessoa. Souza, who brings extensive experience from the aviation and tourism sectors, will focus on diversifying distribution channels and managing the increased demand for air-destination travel.
