Brazilian hospitality firms expand management services
Livá Hotéis & Resorts has announced a strategic partnership with Sofistic Hotel to manage commercial, marketing, and distribution operations for its properties in Brazil. Starting September 1, Livá will oversee units in Gramado, Rio Grande do Sul, and Itapema, Santa Catarina. While Livá handles commercial aspects, Sofistic Hotel will maintain responsibility for operational management. This agreement expands Livá’s portfolio to 12 operations across the South, Southeast, and Northeast regions of the country.
In a separate development within the Brazilian hospitality market, Results Hotelaria has launched a new business unit focused on managing properties associated with international hotel brands. This move targets the 'asset light' model, where international networks focus on brand and loyalty while specialized administrators handle operations. The new unit will provide services including operational management, revenue management, and market intelligence for both existing and developing properties.
