Brazilian industrial firms La Moda and Bracol pursue expansion

The Brazilian industrial sector is seeing significant expansion efforts from key manufacturing players. La Moda has inaugurated a new 4,200 m² logistics pavilion at its manufacturing complex in Criciúma, Santa Catarina. This expansion aims to separate logistics and industrial operations to increase efficiency and support a projected production increase of approximately 48% by 2030. The company expects to reach a production volume of roughly 4.4 million pieces by the end of 2026.

In a separate development, the municipality of Serrinha is seeking to attract new industrial investment. The Mayor of Serrinha, Cyro Novais, visited the headquarters of Bracol, a major safety footwear manufacturer, to propose the city as a site for the company's future expansion. Bracol currently operates three units in Brazil and one in Paraguay, with an annual production capacity of 15 million pairs of safety shoes and waterproof boots distributed to over 20 countries.
