Brazilian Influencer Deolane Bezerra Denied Release as Prosecutors Detail Criminal Allegations

The São Paulo Public Prosecutor's Office, through its Special Action Group against Organized Crime, denied Deolane Bezerra's request for house arrest. Prosecutors cited evidence that she committed crimes while under electronic monitoring during a previous detention, including alleged involvement in money‑laundering and asset‑hiding schemes linked to the Primeiro Comando da Capital (PCC). They also highlighted her alleged ties to the criminal organization, stating that integration with the PCC is a grave offense.

Bezerra remains in preventive detention at the Tupi Paulista Women's Penitentiary after being arrested in Alphaville during Operation Vérnix. Her sister, attorney Daniele Bezerra, criticized the decision of the Superior Court of Justice, urging continued prayers and promising to pursue further legal remedies. The defense maintains that the accusations are unfounded.
