Brazilian influencers Ana Castela and Virginia Fonseca face social media backlash

Singer Ana Castela blocked influencer Jhonatan Coelho on Instagram after he posted a series of videos claiming she was in a romance with fellow influencer Cesar Rincon. Coelho’s posts were later removed, but the rumors continued to circulate online. Rincon also unfollowed Coelho, and neither Castela nor Rincon have issued a public comment.

Digital influencer Virginia Fonseca shared a Valentine's Day bouquet and jewellery on Instagram, prompting Real Madrid star Vinícius Júnior to reply with a heart emoji. The gesture was interpreted as a possible reconciliation after their recent breakup, sparking criticism from followers who accused Fonseca of inconsistency. The backlash led to a loss of more than 300,000 Instagram followers, dropping her count from roughly 56.9 million to 56.6 million. Fonseca later addressed the incident on the TV show Domingão, denying knowledge of who sent the flowers.
