Brazilian influencers undergo major career and ideological shifts

Brazilian influencers Karol Rosalin and Cíntia Chagas are drawing attention for significant shifts in their professional lives and public personas.

Karol Rosalin, a 26-year-old accounting graduate, transitioned from a corporate career as a manager at Itaú to becoming an adult content creator and fitness influencer. Rosalin noted that while her new path involves facing prejudice and constant exposure, it has allowed her to build wealth and support her family. She emphasized that high earnings do not always equate to financial stability, noting her practice of investing 80% of her income.

Cíntia Chagas, a 43-year-old influencer with over seven million followers, is pivoting from conservative values toward advocating for female autonomy. Previously known for promoting female submission, Chagas stated she never genuinely desired marriage, prioritizing instead wealth and travel. Following allegations of aggression made against her ex-husband, Lucas Bove, in late 2024, she has used her platform to promote financial independence for women and has released autobiographical literary works.
