Brazilian institutions launch technology and research scholarships

Several Brazilian institutions have announced scholarship programs aimed at advancing research and technical development in fields such as artificial intelligence, engineering, and computer science.

Agibank, in partnership with Instituto Eldorado, has opened applications for its fifth edition of the AI Native Developer Training Program. The initiative offers 30 scholarships, including a monthly stipend of R$ 2.4 thousand, for candidates in the Campinas region. The program focuses on Java back-end development and applied AI, with a structured path that includes a hackathon and potential hiring opportunities.

Additionally, the Instituto Euvaldo Lodi (IEL) through its Inova Talentos program is offering 312 scholarships of up to R$ 12 thousand for researchers to work on strategic innovation projects in various industries. These opportunities are available for professionals ranging from undergraduates to doctoral students across multiple disciplines, including engineering, pharmacy, and data science. The ICT Itaú institute is also providing over 50 remote research opportunities with stipends between R$ 7 thousand and R$ 12 thousand.
