Brazilian insurers Newe Seguros and 77 Seguros report growth

Newe Seguros reported R$ 100.3 million in direct premiums for guarantee insurance during the first half of the year, representing a 280% increase compared to the same period last year. This performance has moved the multi-line insurer to 14th place in the Susep ranking, up from 22nd in 2024 and 19th in 2025. The company aims for 60% growth by the end of 2026 through portfolio diversification and expanded broker partnerships.

In the auto insurance sector, 77 Seguros is expanding its market presence through technology and customer service. The company has received high consumer ratings on platforms like Reclame Aqui and Google, and won the 23rd Prêmio Segurador Brasil in the Insurtech Auto Insurance category. Additionally, the firm has entered a sponsorship agreement with Porsche Cup driver Gerson Campos to strengthen its brand connection to motorsports.
