Brazilian Judicial Schools Strengthen Training Programs

The National School of Magistrate Training (Enfam) conducted a technical visit to the Acre Judicial Power School (Esjud) on 2 July, aiming to deepen institutional cooperation and share best practices. Participants toured the school's facilities—including an IT lab, auditorium, classrooms and a multimedia studio—and discussed challenges in judicial education, opportunities for joint projects, and the school's progress, which reported 116 training actions and over 10,500 enrolments in the first half of the year.

Meanwhile, the Tocantins Superior School of Magistrates (Esmat) has opened enrolments for a series of self‑paced online courses covering leadership, management, communication, strategic planning, innovation, conflict mediation, ergonomics, and violence‑against‑women prevention. The courses are hosted on the school's virtual learning environment and offer a badge to participants who complete all five learning tracks. Additional programs include introductory training for new public servants, health‑related ergonomics courses for accredited physiotherapists, and modules on the Eproc judicial system.

Both initiatives reflect a broader effort to modernise magistrate education in Brazil, improve technical and human‑centred competencies, and increase flexibility for judicial officials across the country.
