Brazilian leaders grapple with intense pressure and execution challenges

A recent survey by Conquer In Company found that nine out of ten Brazilian managers work under constant pressure, with 44.6% describing it as high or extreme. Over half report fatigue and burnout, and 70% have considered leaving their roles due to the mental‑health impact. The study also revealed that 78% assumed leadership without sufficient training, citing people development, conflict management and balancing strategy with operations as the top stressors.

Separately, business analysts note that many Brazilian firms struggle to translate strategy into action because of excess priorities, lack of focus and poor alignment between leadership goals and team tasks. Implementing Objectives and Key Results (OKR) is highlighted as a way to concentrate effort, improve transparency and create a continuous feedback loop, helping organizations bridge the gap between planning and execution.
