Brazilian market analysis: Ágora updates portfolio and TIM sale rumors emerge

Ágora Investimentos has updated its Top 10 recommended portfolio for November, removing BTG Pactual (BPAC11) and Allos (ALOS3). The brokerage has added Telefônica Brasil (VIVT3) and Caixa Seguridade (CXSE3) in their place, signaling a more cautious strategy focused on companies with solid fundamentals and strong dividend payouts.

In a separate development, investment banks are evaluating the potential sale of TIM Brasil. Analysts suggest that a transaction could be valued at approximately R$ 40 billion, which would make it one of the largest M&A operations in Brazil. Due to the scale of the deal, experts believe a combination of a strategic investor and a financial fund might be necessary. One potential combination discussed by the market involves V.tal, which is controlled by funds managed by BTG Pactual, though no structured negotiations are currently in place. The discussion follows signals from Poste Italiane that the Brazilian operation may not be central to its future strategy.
