Brazilian metal bands Gladenfold and GARGANT are making significant stylistic and commercial moves within the heavy metal genre.

Gladenfold, a group formed in Turku, Finland, has released “Soulbound,” marking a shift from their previous Melodic Death Metal sound toward Power Metal and symphonic arrangements. The new album features more prominent clean vocals and melodic structures, exploring themes of destiny and consequence through a narrative lens.

GARGANT is expanding its international presence with the physical release of their debut album, “Dead Night Defiance,” via Fireflash Records. The album blends Power Metal, Thrash, and other heavy metal influences to create a cohesive artistic universe involving music, storytelling, and visual art.
