Brazilian Military Police personnel achieve athletic and operational milestones
In Brazil, members of the Military Police have achieved notable milestones in both athletics and regional security. Cabo Robson Ricardo Souza de Oliveira, of the 42nd Military Police Battalion of the Interior, won the gold medal in the Master 1 – Heavyweight category at the Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Center-West Championship held in Campo Grande, Mato Grosso do Sul.
In Rio de Janeiro, the 39th Military Police Battalion in Belford Roxo celebrated its 21st anniversary. The ceremony included a change of command, with Colonel Ewerton Lucena de Lima Junior succeeding Lieutenant-Colonel Marcus Vinicius Bonfim de Lima. The battalion reported significant operational results during recent periods, including the seizure of 56 rifles, 174 pistols, 52 revolvers, and various other weapons and narcotics, ranking highly in crime combat statistics within the state.
