Brazilian model Giane Alves dies of heart attack

Brazilian fashion model Giane Alves has died at the age of 32 following a sudden heart attack. The incident occurred on October 2 during a routine medical appointment for her 45-day-old son, Felipe, in Condeúba, Brazil.

Alves was accompanied by her husband, José Sobrinho, and their seven-year-old son, Gael, at the time of the collapse. Despite immediate medical intervention by doctors at the facility, she could not be resuscitated. Her longtime agent, Miguel Crispim, described the death as a shock, noting that Alves maintained a healthy lifestyle, did not smoke or drink alcohol, and had no known underlying health issues.

Alves had an international modeling career that included appearances in New York, London, Milan, and Hamburg, as well as features in magazines such as Vogue and Elle. She had recently returned to her home state of Bahia to focus on her family after years of working in major fashion hubs.
