Brazilian municipal job exams see deadline extension and closing registrations
The municipal public‑service exam for the city of Assunção in Paraíba has been extended. Registrations are now open online until 15 July, with fee payments accepted through 24 July 2026. The contest offers 50 permanent positions across levels from elementary to graduate, with salaries ranging from R$ 1,621 to R$ 4,554. Practical tests are required for driver and electrician roles, while municipal guard candidates will undergo physical, psychological and social assessments. For graduate‑level posts, a qualifying titles exam will also be held. Objective exams are scheduled for 30 August.
Meanwhile, the final day for registrations to four other municipal contests in Brazil’s North and Northeast regions is 6 July. The selections, administered by different organizing bodies, cover municipalities in Sergipe, Maranhão, Bahia and Tocantins and together provide thousands of vacancies in security, administration, education, health and other sectors. Reported salaries reach up to R$ 16,458.70. Applicants must complete online registration, verify specific role requirements, and pay any applicable fees before the deadline.
