Brazilian municipal pension funds earn top transparency honors
The municipal pension fund of Capitão de Campos (FUNPREVICAP) was awarded the Gold Seal for Transparency in 2026 by the Tribunal de Contas do Estado do Piauí (TCE‑PI). The certification recognises the fund’s governance, disclosure practices and responsible management of the city’s pension regime.
In João Pessoa, the Instituto de Previdência do Município (IPM‑JP) secured a renewal of its Certificado de Regularidade Previdenciária (CRP) from the Ministry of Social Security, valid until January 2027. Superintendente Caroline Agra highlighted that the CRP confirms compliance with legal requirements and enables the municipality to receive federal loans, grants and partnership agreements.
