Brazilian municipalities announce healthcare recruitment processes

Municipal governments in Brazil have announced new initiatives regarding healthcare staffing.

The City of Barretos has published a selection process notice (No. 001/2026) to create a reserve list of higher-level health professionals. The temporary positions include various assistive roles such as social workers, pharmacists, and psychologists, as well as numerous medical specialties including cardiology, dermatology, and pediatrics. Applications are scheduled from August 24 to September 13, 2026, via the official municipal website.

In Ubatuba, the administration has issued a new summons for 13 professionals from a previous public competition (005/23). The call includes oral health technicians, dental hygienists, dentists, and several medical specialists such as general practitioners, dermatologists, and psychiatrists. Selected candidates are required to present themselves on September 9 and 10 at the Human Resources Directorate.
