Brazilian municipalities announce hiring updates

The municipality of Itatiaia in Rio de Janeiro opened a simplified selection process to fill 18 professional positions, including psychologists, speech therapists and social workers, for a 12‑month term at a monthly salary of R$ 2,533.53. Applicants must apply in person between 13 and 16 July 2026 and will be evaluated on credentials and an interview.

In Pará, the municipality of Irituia confirmed that no new public selection notice is currently planned following its 2023 temporary hiring of seven community health agents. The last hiring round offered salaries up to R$ 2,640.00. Authorities have not announced any upcoming concurso or edital.
