Brazilian municipalities announce school infrastructure improvements

Municipal governments in Brazil have announced significant improvements to early childhood education facilities. In Palmas, the city administration authorized structural reforms for the Ciranda Cirandinha and Príncipes e Princesas Municipal Early Childhood Education Centers (Cmeis). These renovations aim to increase safety and service quality, with the goal of providing full-time care for the capital's early childhood students starting next year.

In Caucaia, the local government completed the renovation of the Tia Deinha Child Development Nucleus (NEDI) in the Marechal Rondon neighborhood. The upgrades include a new roof, interior coatings, fresh painting, and a modernized facade. To improve the learning environment, classrooms were equipped with air conditioning, and the exterior was updated with interlocking pavement and covered areas for collective activities and play.
