Brazilian municipalities hold forums on early childhood and online betting

Municipalities in Brazil are hosting specialized forums to address local social issues. In Potim, the Municipal Secretariat of Education and the Municipal Council for the Rights of Children and Adolescents organized the 1st Municipal Conference on Early Childhood. The event aims to develop public policies regarding education, protection, quality of life, sports, and culture to support the integral development of children.

In Itabira, the City Council hosted the 1st Municipal Seminar on Sports Betting and Online Gambling. The seminar brought together legislators, psychologists, and educators to discuss the impacts of online betting on families. The initiative seeks to create municipal public policies and legislative measures in response to community reports regarding the difficulties caused by gambling.
