Brazilian municipalities launch health and social service outreach programs

The municipality of Murici (Alagoas) held a "Murici Cuidando de Todos" event at the Conjunto Pedro Tenório Raposo community, providing a range of health services—including laboratory tests, medical and nursing care, vaccinations, dental care, physiotherapy, and rapid tests—as well as social assistance such as elderly ID cards, gestational registration, rights‑violation counseling, and benefit management.

In Lauro Müller (Santa Catarina), the first edition of the "Projeto Maternar" program concluded, gathering pregnant women and their companions for three evenings of education on prenatal care, childbirth options, newborn development, breastfeeding, mental health, and emergency first aid. Participants received informational talks from doctors, nurses, physiotherapists, a firefighter, and a psychologist, and were given kits to mark the program’s completion.
