Brazilian municipalities launch public job contests with salaries up to R$13,600

The municipalities of Congonhal and Lagoa Dourada in Minas Gerais announced public service examinations offering a combined 222 positions, with the highest salary of R$13,611.14 for a medical role. Applications open on 24 June 2026 and close on 31 July 2026, with written and practical tests scheduled for late August.

Porto Calvo in Alagoas also opened its 199‑vacancy concurso, covering administrative, health, education and technical fields. Initial salaries range from R$1,621 to R$8,000, and the deadline for registration is 25 June 2026. Both announcements aim to strengthen municipal staff across the respective regions.
