Brazilian municipalities upgrade traffic signaling in Divinópolis and Jardim Bela Vista

The municipal Traffic, Public Safety and Urban Mobility Secretariat in Divinópolis completed a revitalization of the horizontal road markings on Avenida JK. Using durable stratigraphic paint, the project refreshed pedestrian crossings, "PARE" signage, lane dividers and other markings to improve visibility day and night and to reduce traffic risks for drivers, cyclists and pedestrians.

In the Jardim Bela Vista neighbourhood, the Municipal Transport and Traffic Agency (Agetran) began installing traffic lights, converting key roundabouts to signalised intersections and establishing one‑way streets on several avenues. The changes respond to a traffic flow of about 2,770 vehicles per half‑hour and aim to alleviate congestion near five local schools, reduce collision risks and provide smoother, safer vehicle movement.
