Brazilian Municipality Launches 2026 Protection Network Planning

On February 9, 2026, the newly created Rede de Proteção in the municipality of Capitão Leônidas Marques held its inaugural planning meeting. Municipal officials and network professionals reviewed a case study, coordinated action schedules for the year and outlined strategies to improve integrated assistance for vulnerable residents. The session emphasized strengthening collaboration among local agencies to enhance prevention, monitoring and the promotion of population rights throughout 2026.

The network aims to deliver more efficient, humane services by aligning workflows, sharing expertise and solidifying a joint response framework for the community’s needs.
