Brazilian music festivals announce 2026 lineups

The Circuito – Nova Música, Novos Caminhos project has announced its ninth edition, scheduled for November 5–7, 2026. The traveling caravan will tour the state of São Paulo, including the capital, Vale do Paraíba, and the Campinas Metropolitan Region. The lineup features the return of the Chicano-Paulistano trio Los Pirata, alongside singer Gab Ferreira and the Swedish-Brazilian band Elephant Run. The tour aims to integrate local bands at each stop to connect with new audiences.

In a separate musical event, the singer Tomate is confirmed for the fifth edition of Curitiba Folia, taking place on December 12, 2026. The festival will be held at the Pedreira Paulo Leminski in Curitiba, marking a change in venue for the event. Tomate will perform alongside Xanddy Harmonia and Parangolé, offering a program designed to replicate the experience of major Brazilian carnival circuits, including a trio elétrico and over ten hours of festivities.
