Brazilian music scene features new album and genre-blending single

The Brazilian music scene sees new releases and collaborations. The Minas Gerais trio Manacá da Serra has released the album ‘Déjà vu’, which blends pé-de-serra, pop, reggae, and electronic music. The album features guest appearances by Banda de Pau e Corda and the late Dominguinhos.

In a different genre collaboration, artists MC Mari, Felipe Amorim, MC Jacaré, and Maestro dos Beats have released the single ‘Encaixando’ through Warner Music Brasil in partnership with GR6. The track merges funk with elements of brega, aiming to bridge different segments of popular Brazilian music.
