Brazilian musical and cultural events scheduled for September
Several Brazilian musical and cultural events are scheduled for mid-September. In São Paulo, singer Santijor will perform the “Tardezinha do Batman” show at ZIV Gallery. The event features MPB classics and original songs, serving as a precursor to his upcoming audiovisual project, “Santijor – Ao Vivo em São Paulo,” which is set for release on November 13.
In Santos, the “Chorinho no Aquário” project will host a free performance at Praça Vereador Luiz La Scala. The show, titled “Bahia de todos os santos,” features singer Monna and guest Claudya Costta, celebrating Bahian music through the works of artists such as Dorival Caymmi, Caetano Veloso, and Gal Costa.
In Fortaleza, the biography of singer-songwriter Júnior Vianna, titled “O Menino que Venceu o Sertão,” will be launched by author Washington Pinheiro. The event is scheduled for September 15 at Kina do Feijão Verde and explores the artist's journey through his sertanejo roots.
