Brazilian artists are reaching significant milestones in the music industry. Independent artist BALARA, performing as Luccas Trevisani, has held the top spot on the national MPB radio rankings for ten consecutive weeks alongside Jorge Vercillo for the track ‘Algo Me Diz’. The collaboration has surpassed 2.5 million plays on Spotify and 2 million views on YouTube, notably outperforming releases from established artists like Nando Reis and Marisa Monte.

In the gospel genre, singer Julliany Souza has reached a new milestone, surpassing 7 million monthly listeners on Spotify as of August 2026. This follows her record-breaking achievement in May 2026, when she became the first Brazilian gospel artist to exceed 6 million monthly listeners. Souza’s repertoire includes popular tracks such as ‘A Casa É Sua’ and ‘Lindo Momento’, and her album ‘A Maior Honra’ was previously nominated for a Latin Grammy in the Best Christian Music Album in Portuguese category.
