Brazilian musicians Catiça and Donna Dona announce new releases

Several Brazilian musical artists are marking new milestones in their careers. The Paraná-based punk, hardcore, and metal band Catiça has released its second single, ‘Em todos esses anos nessa indústria vital, essa é a primeira vez que isso me acontece’, ahead of their upcoming album ‘Cereja de xuxu’. The track, released via Deck, uses lyrical themes inspired by the Woody Woodpecker cartoon to express the band's passion for music.

In Rio de Janeiro, singer and actress Donna Dona has announced the release of her single ‘grandona’, which serves as the introduction to her first original EP. Drawing from her roots in Duque de Caxias and her background in theater, her music blends MPB, jazz, R&B, and pop. Her work has previously gained attention from renowned musician Ivan Lins.
