João Pessoa hosts diverse cultural events in Historic Center

João Pessoa is hosting a series of cultural activities in its Historic Center, centered around Praça Rio Branco. The Sabadinho Bom event will feature singer and instrumentalist Beto Tavares, performing samba and choro as part of a municipal effort to promote cultural diversity.

Additionally, the Batalha do Beco project is organizing the Batalha da BR, a rap battle competition, alongside the second edition of the Street Flow Festival. This hip-hop initiative includes performances by Deox and DJ Mangueboy and aims to foster urban youth culture. The events are supported by the João Pessoa City Hall through its Cultural Foundation (Funjope).

Other regional cultural programming includes activities at the Mangabeira Tenente Lucena Cultural Center, which will host frevo and capoeira demonstrations, and events at Parque das Três Ruas featuring gastronomy and music.
