Brazilian musicians debut new musical projects in Campinas and Brasília
Several Brazilian musical projects are debuting or performing new repertoires this October. In Campinas, singer Bia Goes performs a show at Rabeca Cultural alongside guitarist José Gobbo. The duo focuses on the intersection of Brazilian music and jazz, featuring works by Leny Andrade, Rosa Passos, and Joyce Moreno.
In Brasília, singer and composer Joana Duah debuts her musical project ‘Estradar’ at Casa Thomas Jefferson. Accompanied by guitarist Lula Galvão and a full ensemble, the project explores contemporary readings of Brazil through the songs of artists such as Chico Buarque, Gilberto Gil, and Edu Lobo. The show is part of a planned mini-tour that includes upcoming dates in Rio de Janeiro.
