Brazilian musicians launch social and talent initiatives

Singer-songwriter Rodrigo Cerveira has released a new single titled ‘Animals’ to raise awareness about gender violence. The track features a guitar solo by Andreas Kisser, known for his work with Sepultura. In an effort to support the cause, Cerveira and producer Val Santos are donating all copyrights and streaming royalties from the song to NGOs dedicated to assisting vulnerable women, including ONG Nova Mulher, ONG Fala Mulher, and ONG Recomeçar.

In a separate musical initiative, singer Belo has launched ‘Belo’s Music’ in partnership with businessman Alfredo Santana. The project aims to identify and develop new musical talents across various regions, providing them with professional market visibility. As part of its initial actions, the project is supporting two young LGBTQIA+ singers, who will collaborate with Belo on a new track focused on representation within the pagode genre.
