Brazilian officials allocate funds and health equipment to municipalities

São Paulo Governor Tarcísio de Freitas announced the publication of more than 120 agreements with municipalities and local entities, allowing the transfer of public resources ahead of the upcoming election. The package, issued in an extra edition of the state gazette, is presented as the continuation of contracts already in progress, complying with regulations that restrict new allocations within three months of the campaign.

In Tocantins, federal deputy Ricardo Ayres delivered new vehicles and medical equipment to 56 municipalities, part of a health‑sector acceleration programme. The distribution includes micro‑buses for sanitary transport, mobile dental units and other devices, representing an investment exceeding R$ 12 million. A further R$ 270 million health‑infrastructure package was also announced, covering a hospital‑PPP and other projects.

Both actions illustrate the use of public funds by state and federal officials to bolster local services and infrastructure in the run‑up to the election period.
