Brazilian police officer’s gate‑climbing fall captured on video

On 20 July, police officer Ayslan Magalhães attempted to scale a one‑metre‑high gate at a residence in Parnaíba, Piauí, Brazil, while executing an arrest warrant. A drone recording showed the officer lose his grip, fall and quickly get back to his feet. The footage was later posted on Instagram with Magalhães’s permission, who said the incident illustrates the risks officers face during searches and arrests. He reported no injuries.

The video quickly spread online, highlighting the dangers of routine police operations.
