Brazilian police raid PCC‑controlled crime courts in Salto, São Paulo

On 18 June 2026, the Civil Police launched Operation Veredictum in Salto, São Paulo, targeting the so‑called “tribunals of crime” run by the Primeiro Comando da Capital (PCC). The operation, coordinated with the Sorocaba Police Division and supported by the Military Police and the Municipal Guard, executed 12 temporary arrest warrants and 20 search and seizure warrants at multiple addresses.

Six individuals were detained, all linked to the PCC’s criminal courts; one was arrested on the spot for drug trafficking after being found with several drug portions. Police also seized several slot‑machine units during the raids. The investigation, which began in November 2025 following the murder of a man who was beaten, continues as authorities seek further suspects and illegal materials.
