Brazilian police seize cocaine, crack and cash in multiple raids
Police units in the state of São Paulo carried out a series of raids against drug trafficking points. In the northern district of São Paulo city, officers from the 43rd Battalion arrested two men, seized marijuana, portions resembling cocaine and ICE, and confiscated a clandestine processing laboratory with BHO presses, butane tubes and precision scales.
In Carmo da Cachoeira, a central‑city operation uncovered a large stash of crack – roughly a thousand stone‑size pieces – along with two digital scales, two card‑reading machines, five mobile phones, a weed‑cutting tool and R$617 in cash; a 40‑year‑old suspect fled the scene.
A coordinated effort by the ROTAM and RPA in Faxinal led to the detention of a driver transporting cocaine. The follow‑up inspection in neighboring Mauá da Serra yielded three packets of cocaine, 224 g of marijuana, a precision balance, various packaging tools and R$1,129, indicating a distribution network.
