Brazilian political groups mobilize to strengthen democracy and party support

Political activists and party leaders in Brazil are organizing to strengthen democratic mobilization and party support. At a meeting hosted by the Center for the Creation of Popular Image (CECIP), educators and activists discussed strategies to combat political polarization and digital bubbles ahead of upcoming elections. Participants emphasized the need for concrete actions, such as occupying public spaces and communicating social achievements like the recovery of the SUS and the creation of the Ministry of Indigenous Peoples.

In a separate mobilization, historical militants of the Democratic Labour Party (PDT) gathered for a meeting to reinforce support for Senator Weverton Rocha. Hosted by Aziz Santos, the event included party founders and leaders such as Chico Leitoa and Pedro Lago. During the meeting, Rocha addressed the current political climate and defended his political trajectory against ongoing campaigns directed at him, highlighting his legislative work and presence in Maranhão.
