Anitta releases EQUILIBRIVM II album, mixing Brazilian roots with AI visuals
Brazilian pop star Anitta launched her ninth studio album EQUILIBRIVM II, continuing the project begun earlier in the year. The record features numerous Brazilian icons such as Maria Bethânia, Alceu Valença, Mart'nália and others, and explores themes of faith, ancestry, religiosity and love across samba, bossa nova, forró, reggae and funk. A short‑film accompaniment is available on Globoplay and YouTube.
The album’s visual production sparked debate on social media, with critics alleging the use of artificial intelligence. The creative studio Bezier confirmed that AI was employed for about one minute and fifteen seconds of the 35‑minute visual sequence, describing it as a tool to expand creative possibilities while remaining directed by human designers.
